Corning Optical Communications offers a wide variety of bare splitters, suitable for indoor and outdoor use and optimum for FTTH applications. Bare splitters are based on the PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology, which has a compact size and suits for density applications. 1xN and 2xN configurations are available allowing higher network design flexibility. All bare splitters are delivered with Corning’s low bend loss LBL® optical fiber (compliant with ITU G.657.A2 standard) with a diameter of 250 micron. Qualifications are performed according to IEC-61753-1 and Telcordia’s GR1209 and 1221 specifications.
